overview
Crestwood Manor, Stockton, is a Skilled Nursing Facility / Special Treatment Program. Residents participate in the Step Program, a three-level system that offers appropriate structure, support and guidance, depending on each resident's treatment needs. The program includes regularly scheduled groups, classes and activities, many of which help residents move closer to returning to their communities. All residents start at Level One, ensuring they have the time and space to become acclimated to the facility and its programs. Level One residents attend one or two groups each day and have privileges at the facility canteen. Residents move up to Level Two when they have demonstrated self-motivation to participate in groups and other Crestwood Manor activities. These residents attend six to seven groups a day and are awarded additional canteen visits and other special privileges. Once residents reach Level Three, they are attending 35 activities each week, taking care of their personal hygiene on a daily basis and performing tasks around the facility. Residents in Level Three are consistently recognized for their hard work and progress by receiving special privileges. Residents who maintain their participation at Level Three for at least five weeks are invited to a candlelight dinner with a menu of their choosing. These residents also become eligible for independent passes.
Crestwood Manor's unique three-step program empowers residents to move towards mental health recovery.
